Bulb Earrings II
Today I finished three more pairs of earrings. The welding part was the hardest part but I got a pretty good result for each pair.

Pipe Lamp II
First of all, I found a lamp and I looked for a way to fix it on the pipes. I wanted to keep the original articulation to stay as flexible as possible. So I cut the plastic the same diameter as a copper pipe I got and I fixed it into the connection with hot glue.
Last steps are now the painting and finding another support to ensure a better stability.

Pipe Lamp
This afternoon I found some hydraulic stuff of various materials and I decided to do something with it by the end of the day. Finally, I went for a lamp.
So I began to put the pieces together and I scratched the all thing to get the metal shiny. I also thread the electric cable through the pipes for the lamp.
Concerning the different metals, I have copper, brass and steel. I was afraid of the mix of these metals at the beginning but the result convinced me.
I also placed a brass platter, probably to put a clock later. There is also space for a valve.
The next steps are to fix the support, the copper parts and... to find a lamp!

Bulb Earrings
Today I decided to make some unusual earrings with light bulbs. I had a pair of good ones for that but I didn't want to waste it for my first try so I took two others (maybe less attractive) for training.
The hard part was the melding for the clip as I only have a soldering iron made for electric stuff.
Next step, same work with the good ones.

Mechanical USB stick
After my first attempts, I really wanted to get a professional result for my next key and I think I reached that goal.
This time, I studied a lot the shape of the sitck and the arrangement of clockworks and gears (two watch movements were used in this one). When I got a good idea of what I wanted to make, I started to sculpt the wood shell and paste the gears on it. I also made a cap this time and I used two metal locks to hold it in place.
After I finished my work I put a coat of varnish but this one was really too glossy and I had to remove it.
Here is the final result: A 4GB mechanical USB Key.

Beginnings
Two months ago, I discovered a very nice keyword to waste my time on the Internet: Steampunk.
I first saw it in the tittle of a video of Household Hacker on Youtube, but didn't notice it at first. Then, during the same week, I saw it again in the description of a very nice work of Artype (on Etsy), presenting a great USB stick made of wood and clockworks and I thought : That's the kind of USB stick I want to have. So I dug a bit and I actually like the all Steampunk style.
The only real problem was the price of such a piece of art: about 200$
So I finally decided to make it by myself, and here is the result i got after hours of work:
